Norman is one of the best writers about risk and internal audit topics – he is knowledgeable and experienced, and he writes in a manner that is understandable for ordinary people. I prefer using the “uncertainty” terminology; however, it is more important to get all people within an organization (including executives, the board and its committees, mid-management, and the other employees) to think critically about risk or uncertainty, however it is referenced.
